OLD QASHQAI - 202cm X 128cm (6'8 x 4'2)

This rug is handknotted by the nomadic Qashqai tribe that migrates around the Shiraz province in southern western Iran (Persia). The Qashqai rug is woven on horizontal loom and the weaver sits during the weaving process on the half made part of the carpet. Made using hand spun wool and natural dyes.

This rug has been handpicked for its exceptional quality and unusual floral design. A fantastic example of a robust and beautiful nomadic rug. 

We only sell hand knotted rugs: no shortcuts and no hand tufting. Quality and good design is incredibly important in creating beautiful yet sustainable products that will last for years to come.
